Young Illinois Saves is a peer based movement to increase saving and financial literacy among youth. Utilize the following resources to motivate students at your school to save and to train students to serve as Young Illinois Saves student leaders.
Materials may be used freely, downloaded, reproduced and customized. Please remember that you do NOT need to use all resources included here to have a Saves campaign.
The most essential aspect of a Saves campaign is to encourage students to set savings goals, make a commitment, join Saves and begin saving.
Please be sure to include the goal setting and enrollment process in your programs. If you have online access, students may enter their own information online. However, if you are collecting paper enrollment forms, please contact us at ilsaves@econcouncil.org for instructions for on entering your enrollments.
